Xbox one supported Media and Format Compatability

I have stored many home videos on my external hard drive and it is easy to play on the 360. Now I would like to buy Microsoft next-gen console, so I have question about can I do it on the One and what file formats are supported?

Xbox one supported video/audio Media and Format Compatability
* Xbox One is “all in one console”, but its hard drive is in non-user replaceable. So you can’t use it to play any videos or music from USB sticks at launch. The external storage support is touted for the future.
* Game type
It works with Xbox One discs/downloads/games, and doesn’t have backwards Compatibility (without Xbox 360 discs/downloads support)
* Streaming
You are still be able to access purchased music and movies through your Xbox 360 on the Xbox One.
Confirmed streaming services includes Netflix, Hulu Plus, Vudu, Amazon Instant video, Crackle, Crunchyroll, NHL,, Twitch TV, Epix, YouTube, ESPN, redbox instant, Vimeo, HBO Go, IGN.
These servicesare unknown: NFL Sunday, Max Go, Showtime Anytime, LoveFilm.
* Blu-ray Media works, because the new console has a Blu-ray drive and the games are stored on Blu-ray Discs.
* You can use other services with the Xbox one device, such as Facebook, Xbox Live, Skype, and Internet Explorer.
